My JA experience began in elementary school, where dedicated volunteers engaged our classroom in fun and meaningful lessons focused on business education. I imagine teaching elementary school students about business is not easy, but our classroom volunteers helped us gain an important understanding of the roles that a business can play in a community. This idea of small parts making a whole was taught throughout my JA experience.
After joining the Junior Achievement ambassador program, my learning experience continued and continues to this day. JA has taught me how to function in a formal business world, how to network, and how to have confidence in your role, no matter how young you are. JA has inspired me to open my mind to new careers that I would never think I would be able to achieve and like. As I go into college, I will take all these experiences and lessons as I begin to build a career based on the fundamentals I learned all the way back in elementary school. I cannot thank the volunteers and employees of JA enough.
JA has given me invaluable life lessons that every kid should learn.
