Golf tournament raises $405,000 to support local JA programs

Participants of the 2016 Bank of America Junior Achievement Golf Classic, presented by RE/MAX, LLC., helped Junior Achievement (JA) raise $405,000 to help ensure that Front Range schools continue to receive JA’s world class programming at no cost.

This premier event held on June 27, 2016 at the Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia, Colo. included a pre-tournament dinner and silent auction at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House underwritten by Zayo.

“Bank of America is committed to empowering people financially and further motivating them to pursue their dreams,” said Jodi Rolland, Colorado State President for Bank of America. “By partnering with Junior Achievement, we are able to help students gain hope, optimism and control over their future financial success.”

“JA would not be possible without the support of organizations like Bank of America,” said Robin Wise, president and CEO of Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc. “In the past two years, Bank of America’s contributions provided JA programs to thousands of students in Denver area low-to-moderate income schools.”

Planning is already underway for the 2017 tournament. To learn more about this fun and important event, visit www.jacolorado.org/events/.
