Last summer I got involved in the JA Business Week, and I am truly happy I did. My favorite part of this camp was the real aspect of it! Being a first year student, I was placed into a team with nine other students (from all over Colorado) to work on a real advertising campaign for Jamba Juice. In addition to the advertising campaign, my team and I were able to create a real Jamba Juice smoothie to go with the advertising campaign.

Even though my group did not win, I learned a lot about the business world, and I made a lot of different friends from different areas. I wish I got involved with JA sooner than I did; however, it is not too late to get involved with this great program – like I did.

I will be majoring in business next year when I go off to college and I am really glad I have this program on my resume!  JA Business Week taught me be a lot about myself and about my major. The program’s impact convinced me that I love business and this is what I should be doing with my life.
