Nelnet makes another very important investment in the educational dreams of young people – through their community outreach and local partnership with Junior Achievement (JA).  Nelnet is dedicated to supporting the communities where they live and work through corporate donations, matching associate donations, and board and volunteer service. JA is grateful to count Nelnet as one of our top supporters in Colorado.

Nelnet is a company that does everything with JA!  Over the past decade, Nelnet has invested over $375,000 in JA programming and has dedicated thousands of hours improving the hope and optimism of Denver students.  Nelnet’s subsidiary U-fi, which provides student loans to college students, is currently a sponsor at JA Finance Park, presented by Empower Retirement.

From volunteering at multiple JA in a Days to high school classrooms, from JA Business Week to JA Bowl-A-Thon, Nelnet associates have volunteered in more than 530 classrooms over the past decade that directly reached 13,250 students.  Bill Munn, general counsel for Nelnet, Inc. provides leadership to the organization through his board service.
