State Farm has awarded a $10,000 grant to Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc. (JA). The funds will be used to implement financial education curriculum in classrooms throughout Denver, Northern Colorado and Eastern Wyoming during the 2013/14 school year.

State Farm has a long history of supporting JA’s mission through both funds and volunteers.  Over the past decade, State Farm volunteers have generously prepared more than 20,000 Colorado students with the skills and knowledge they need to own their future financial success.  The continued success of this partnership with State Farm has enabled Junior Achievement to make a greater impact on the young people in the local community.

State Farm’s commitment to JA goes beyond Colorado’s borders.  In fact, State Farm was presented with a 2011/12 Junior Achievement USA (JA) Bronze U.S. President’s Volunteer Service Award for providing the organization with significant volunteer resources during the year.
